What the policy did

PM Stanislav Gross (CSSD) faced pressure from January 2005 over unclear financing of a Prague apartment purchase and alleged family- linked business interests. Resigned as PM 25 April 2005. Jiri Paroubek succeeded. Further tarnished CSSD governmental credibility.
