Following US withdrawal from TPP (Jan 2017), New Zealand under English participated in the 11-party renegotiation producing the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) signed 8 Mar 2018 Santiago, entering force for NZ 30 Dec 2018.
