What the policy did

Producer Lew Rywin allegedly demanded USD 17.5m from Agora SA in July 2002, claiming to represent a "group holding power" to secure favourable provisions in a new media law. Gazeta Wyborcza published 27 December 2002. Sejm special commission (Jan-Sep 2003) cross- examined leading SLD figures. Triggered collapse of public trust in SLD government; Miller resigned post-EU-accession May 2004.
